3. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect for the following purposes:

  • All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher
  • Contact form submissions are transmitted via HTTPS to our backend and delivered as email — we do not store submissions in a database
  • Access logs are stored in encrypted S3 buckets with restricted access policies
  • Access to our AWS infrastructure is controlled through IAM policies following the principle of least privilege

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — our hosting and email delivery provider. Data is processed within the UK/EU under AWS's Data Privacy commitments.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. — provides bot protection (Turnstile) on our contact form. Cloudflare operates under their privacy policy and is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

We do not transfer your data outside the UK/EEA except where our processors maintain appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions).

  • Contact form submissions — delivered via email and not stored separately. Retention is governed by our email retention policies.
  • Access logs — retained for up to 12 months for security and operational purposes, then automatically deleted.
  • Theme preference — stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and never transmitted to our servers.
